Presentation of project Objectively better

On project Objectively better presentation, that Vojvodinian Civic Centre held on the 20th September 2013 in Youth centre CK13, project coordinator Jelena Dukaric said:”Service Objectively better is unique in this region. Beside the fact that it is modern, interesting and easy to use, it is the only service that connects citizens of Novi Sad and city’s communal services with mutual goal to solve the problem of hate speech graffiti. This project is highly important because discrimination, lynching affirmation and any other forms of verbal violence are unacceptable and need to be removed.”

Objectively better is a service for reporting hate speech graffiti using simple android app for mobile phones and web site. After a certain number of graffiti is collected VCC will send a list to the communal service that has a jurisdiction to repaint them. About 50 people attended the presentation and a thing that they liked very much was an option on a web site to monitor repainted graffiti, which provides them a insight into their role in creating nicer and more tolerant Novi Sad, and also into promptness of communal services of the city.

Dukaric also stated that in negotiation with city representatives, importance of this project and cooperation have been recognized instantly.

After the official part of the presentation, over a vegetarian dinner, visitors have downloaded application and shared ideas who to improve and spread the use of this project.
