Vojvodina Civic Center (VCC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 2008.
Vision of VCC is opened civil society build on respect for human rights.
The mission of the Vojvodina Civic Center is the affirmation of the values of an open civil society, with clearly defined priorities in terms of promoting and protecting human rights, development kritčikog dialogue about the events in the nineties in the region and involvement of youth in the socio-political processes through youth activism. Vojvodina Civic Center promotes truth, justice, responsibility and equality as fundamental values.
Strategic goals:
Contribution to the social development through representations and improvement of human rights on territory of AP Vojvodina
Promoting cooperation in the region among ex Yugoslavia countries, with special focus on cultural exchange, youth mobility and transitional justice
Researching cases of human rights violations in Vojvodina during the ‘90s, documenting and publishing collected material with the goal to make an influence on state and local institutions
Maintaining and developing capacity of organization, its employees and volunteers
